Klaviyo

Connecting your VerifyPass account to your Klaviyo account is an easy process, which will sync future verified applicants and their communities to their Klaviyo profile. By default, VerifyPass will not opt-in verified applicants to e-mail marketing.

Connecting to Klaviyo

Visit VerifyPass → Integrations → Klaviyo. You will be directed to create a Private Key within Klaviyo, then copy/paste it to complete the connection.

After connecting, all future verifications will sync to Klaviyo by creating or updating Klaviyo Profiles. If you need to import previous verification activity, this can be done by exporting a CSV from your Activity tab.

How Profiles are Updated

Upon each successful verification, VerifyPass will create (or update) a Profile complete with First Name, Last Name and E-Mail. It will also add the community of the verified applicant as a custom property formatted as verifypass_community_title.

For example, John Smith verified as a Healthcare Worker. In Klaviyo, a Profile will be created (or updated if he already exists):

  • First Name: John
  • Last Name: Smith
  • E-Mail: john.smith@email.com
  • Custom Properties
    • verifypass_healthcare_worker: true

If John Smith returns at a later date and verifies as Military, it will update the same Profile with the Custom Property verifypass_military set to true.

Creating a Segment based on VerifyPass Profiles

Visit KlaviyoLists & SegmentsCreate SegmentSelect conditionProperties about someone → select the verifypass_ community title you'd like to add. Note that VerifyPass properties will not appear in this section until at least one applicant has synced to Klaviyo.

1-Store Limit

Only 1 Klaviyo connection is permitted per VerifyPass account.
