Includes current and former military personnel (US/UK/CA/AUS), National Guard members in either federal or state status, drilling or Individual Ready Reservists, service-academy or contracted ROTC cadets and midshipmen, Veterans and retirees of any discharge characterization, and prior-service individuals no longer in uniform. Eligible dependents encompass spouses, children, surviving spouses, Gold Star parents or children, and others who qualify for a DoD or VA dependent credential. Proof may be established with documents such as a DD-214, DD-256, NGB-22, separation or retirement orders, award citations, VA or VHIC card, Leave and Earnings Statement, W-2, 1099-R or other pay document from DFAS, USAA or Navy Federal account confirmation, enlistment contract, or similar paperwork that clearly demonstrates current or past military affiliation.
Eligibility extends to current or former members of public-safety agencies (US/UK/CA/AUS) whose official duties involve emergency response, public protection, or the provision of immediate medical or life-saving care. This includes sworn law-enforcement officers at local, state, or federal levels—such as police, sheriffs, constables, marshals, highway patrol, campus police, park rangers, and special agents; career or volunteer firefighters, fire marshals, and fire investigators; licensed EMS personnel such as emergency medical technicians and paramedics; and licensed healthcare professionals whose primary responsibilities involve urgent or acute care. Employees of public-safety or emergency organizations—such as dispatchers, corrections officers, detention or probation staff—also qualify, as do enforcement employees of the National Park Service, Bureau of Land Management, and similar agencies. Roles that do not carry statutory emergency-response authority or direct responsibility for public safety operations—such as private security personnel, bounty hunters, fugitive recovery agents, tow truck operators, utility workers, and commercial airline crew members—are not eligible. These are treated as separate communities from the First Responder community and must be manually enabled by the business utilizing VerifyPass.
Eligibility covers any individual whose work supports the delivery of healthcare services (US/UK/CA/AUS). This includes licensed clinicians—physicians, surgeons, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, registered or vocational nurses, midwives, dentists, dental hygienists, pharmacists, optometrists, psychologists, and all physical, occupational, respiratory, speech, radiologic or other rehabilitation therapists—as well as paramedics, emergency medical technicians and other first responders. Qualified applicants also include non-clinical personnel employed by hospitals, clinics, private practices, nursing homes, assisted-living facilities, blood banks, laboratories, imaging centers, hospices, home-health, telehealth, public health departments, medical transport firms, dental offices and similar providers. Administrative, research, IT, supply chain, security and other support roles within those organizations are accepted. Proof may be an employer ID badge, paystub, contract, professional license, training record such as BLS certification, Blue Light Card or any document that reasonably demonstrates past or present affiliation with a healthcare-providing entity.
Eligible members are individuals who can present credible evidence of current or very recent participation in higher education. K-12 are not eligible to verify. Qualifying statuses include full-time, part-time, undergraduate, graduate, doctoral, professional school, certificate, exchange, online or distance-learning students, as well as those on an approved leave or internship period that maintains enrollment. The institution must be a recognized or accredited college, university, or equivalent tertiary program in the US, UK, CA or Australia. Submitted documentation must display the person’s name, the institution’s name, and a date showing that enrollment is active now, fell within the past three months, or extends into a future term. Acceptable proofs encompass student ID cards with expiration dates, recent enrollment or fee statements, class timetables, official letters or emails of admission or verification, transcripts issued within the required window, or authenticated screenshots of secure student portals showing active enrollment. Documents that are outdated, self-generated, incomplete, or ambiguous are not sufficient for verification.
Eligible applicants include any person who currently works, or has within the past 18 months worked, for a registered 501(c) non-profit organization or charity in any paid capacity, or who holds an ownership, founding, or board position. This covers full-time, part-time, seasonal, temporary, contract, freelance, remote or on-site employees; executives, directors, officers; paid interns, fellows, and apprentices. Acceptable evidence must reasonably link the applicant to the entity and can include a photo of an employee ID badge, staff directory listing, recent paystub, official offer or employment verification letter, signed contract, business card, email from an organizational domain, IRS Form 990 or determination letter naming the individual, articles of incorporation, bylaws, meeting minutes, or other governmental or regulatory filings showing their role. Documents may be physical or digital; personal details such as Social Security numbers or compensation may be redacted as long as name, organization, and a recent date remain visible.
